The work IV Motion contributed to this documentary on Charles Darwin includes 3-D topographical maps created in-house, ye olde hand-drawn sketches, numerous supers, movie logo design, and a model of the HMS Beagle which sails both backwards and forwards.

Pretend it animates

“The Return of Mayer & Bettle” was a project done as an educational video for Creative Commons Australia. Because IV Motion animator Pete created the original piece in 2D, the guys were able to take it up a notch in 3D for the sequel. A project of this scope is never without its challenges, but everyone was pleased with the end product.
